Bisou was a new creative and independent blog-collective founded in 2012 and ended in 2015.
it consisted of the Danish blogs Adélie, Brigade Noir, Feed My Ego, Fredes Blog and The Style Cavalry. The aim was to create a community of some of the strongest and most innovative blogs, which strive to not just communicate fashion and style to their readers, but to create a distinct universe.
BISOU is the image of the modern digital curator and the focus will always be on creating fashion forward content. The bloggers believe that “together we are stronger” goes for blogs as well and they want to use the new blog-collective to help each other grow and develop creatively – which in the end is in favour of the readers.
About the background for creating BISOU Tikkie Elsøe, blogger at Adélie, says:
“We are a group of bloggers who all know each other from our jobs in the fashion industry and who share a seriousness and aesthetic around what we do – and who all wanted to have someone with the same approach to develop new ideas with. It was just logic for us to start our own platform, where we agree about what we want. We don’t compromise and we know that neither does our readers.”
As co-founder and manager my tasks included:
creating the visual identity - logo, press releases & general graphic works
project coordinating in the making of bisou.dk in collaboration with visual agency "ironflag"
contact with brands and media agencies in regards to advertising and creative collaborations
